Brussels Sprouts Au Gratin

Used first half of this recipe and second half of this recipe.
- Clean and cut brussels sprouts (halved or quartered, lengthwise)
- Boil sprouts
- Salted water, 3 minutes
- Rub baking dish with garlic (I just used the juice from the jar of minced garlic) and spray pan with cooking spray
- Transfer sprouts to prepared baking dish
- Sprinkle sprouts with salt & pepper, then toss in ~2 tbsp melted butter (I didn’t melt the butter, just cut it up and let the heat melt it as I tossed)
- Pour ~1/2 cup heavy whipping cream on sprouts (I used heavy cream. Not sure if that’s ok, but it was still good so ¯_(ツ)_/¯ )
- Add shredded cheese (1 cup?) on top
- Toss 1 cup breadcrumbs (actually, 1 cup is way too much. Maybe try half next time, maybe same amount of butter) in (~2 tbsp?) melted butter and add on top
- Was out of breadcrumbs so used crushed up Ritz mixed w/ Italian seasoning. Tends to work well.
- Bake @ 400 for ~20 minutes
